I remember Running

There is a certain inherent reward that comes with solving a large problem. Breaking it down in small pieces and putting all the pieces together and alas the solution to the problem.  There is also something very draining in the process that leaves you depleted, kind of brain dead, kind of wade awake frenzied.

Which are somehow balanced out with the stretching of the limits of the human body? There is nothing like the feeling of workout that pushes you to the limits. A marathon doesn’t quite do that. The marathon pushes you over the limit. And it’s good to go over that limit once in a while. But, to push yourself daily to that limit is a great feeling. It is cathartic and empowering and hopefully addictive.

I Remember Running is the book I am currently reading and I am enjoying it very much. I myself also remember running. I remember when I was in really good shape two years ago. I think I will visit that place once again…
